Educational programs
AURP offers four types of educational programs
Annual International Conference
AURP's major conference is the principal annual event that brings together research park officials and other experts from around the world. The 2 1/2 day annual conference provides a unique opportunity to share expertise and experiences with seasoned research park directors and technology development managers. Special sessions also address the needs of those now embarking on research park or technology incubator planning. Held in a variety of locations, the conference includes on-site tours of active parks and incubators.
Seminars
One day seminars are also offered that focus on topics such as "Starting and Operating a Research Park", "Research Parks as Local Economic Development Strategies", Financing,
Music Marketing, etc.
Regional Focus Groups
Focus group meetings are the result of regional AURP members gathering to discuss common problems and to share solutions with one another. These meetings are generally a day or two in length and are coordinated by the regional members.
