Membership
Membership in the Association is by organization. Members are classified as Sustaining Members, Regular Members, International Members or Associate Members. Membership is restricted to those companies, or institutions which have a declared interest in the planning, construction, management, support, research, or implementation of university research or science parks, technology incubators, technology programs, or those who show a personal or professional interest in the promotion and development of those goals.
All members in good standing may nominate members to the Board of Directors, be elected to the Board of Directors, and vote at annual membership meetings.

Membership dues - membership is by organization
1. Sustaining Membership: Annual Membership Dues: $1,500 USD
This membership category is open to those research parks, consultants, and real estate development companies that are established leaders in the field and desire additional member benefits.
Additional Member Benefits:
- Seven additional individuals to receive AURP publications and mailings.
- Research park name and web site link included on AURP home page.
- Logo and research park name will be included as sponsors for all AURP conferences.
- Invitation to yearly VIP reception at annual conference.
- Priority attention to serve as speaker or moderator at any AURP conference.
- Periodic features in Research Park Forum or on AURP web site on park happenings.
2. Regular Membership: Annual Membership Dues: $650 USD
This membership category is open to university research parks in the USA, Canada, Mexico and international parks. One representative is included in the organization membership fee. Each additional representative is billed at $150.
3. International Membership: Annual Membership Dues: $650 USD
This membership category is open to university research/science parks outside the United States. One representative is included in the organization fee. Each additional representative is billed at $150.
4. Associate Membership: Annual Membership Dues: $650 USD
This membership category is open to all others with a declared interest in the planning, construction, management, support, research, or implementation of university research or science parks, technology incubators, technology programs or those who show a personal or professional interest in the promotion and development of those goals. One representative is included in the organization membership fee. Each additional representative is billed at $150.
